Augsburger Initialen is here paired with Augsburger Schrift lowercase. I prefer to avoid changing fonts in mid-word, so I like to start with a fairly complete character set. See comments on Augsburger Schrift for historical background.
Take a look at the Gallery Image on Myfonts.com. This is my favorite photo of Neuschwanstein, the world-famous castle that was the model for the Fantasyland Castle at Disneyland in California. How appropriate a model it is. Although located in Bavaria, about 70 miles due south of Augsburg (and SW of Munich), it seems to have been built on the very edge of reality, with waves of imagination lapping at the shore. The mist of the low-hanging clouds in the photo evoke the magical, mystical (mist-ical!) Geheimnis of the land of dreams. That is where King Ludwig II preferred to live and that is where he died. Seventeen years in the building, is was never quite completed. Ludwig ran out of money and died mysteriously thereafter.
